Saturday 25 February 2017 chef Nicola Batavia, for years the scene of high national and international cuisine, chef patron of Birichin Restaurant and The Egg in Turin, will delight guests coming from all over the world for Il Ballo del Doge with a dinner with typical Italian flavors. From the south to the north the dishes that will take place will be a tribute to the city on the lagoon.

“…In a hectic world, constantly striving and searching for change, I am once again thrilled and excited to present the new edition of Il Ballo del Doge for the Venice Carnival 2017.

Now in its 24th edition Il Ballo del Doge is still faithful to its original principles: disguising oneself in order to fully feel and explore using the five senses, unleashing one’s own instinct.

An often dreamt of, experienced and desired Venice that will remain in the imagination of every one of us. This is how I would like to introduce her to you, suspended between the charm of art, the glamour of fashion and the grandeur of cinema.
